Word POW-POW

Ok, so here are the three movie-line type designs I chose from the list.

The next two are my own picks.

Geez I feel sorry for any students who haven't done this type of thing on the computer before. Just doing one from scratch while figuring out a type/ photoshop application would be crazy, let alone five. Good luck to all.

Lamby

SUCCESS!!!
I had my first opportunity since starting real girls to kick some cooking butt. John's dad, Bruce, took him to costco yesterday and bought us this amazing rack of Australian lamb loin chops. I believe this gives us the first principal of cooking cheaply: have someone else buy the food.

I baked a sweet potato and garlic for a sweet potato mash, added a handful of greens garnished with orange and avocado slices (a la California), and Voila!

As for the chops themselves, I pan seared them and then baked in the oven on a rack for about 20 minutes at 400 degrees, which made for a medium temperature. Finished with a bistecca-style olive oil (oil, parsley, garlic, lemon zest), these were gobbling good to John who was done eating in about two minutes.

Where I Justify

I want to dedicate this blog to the age-old question that perplexes families all across our country on a daily basis: "What's for dinner?" My biggest issue in tackling this problem is that my husband's eating fantasies could not be more opposite than mine. He yearns for rich, beefy caloric food and I for crisp tangy fruits and vegetables. How can I make meals that satisfy both our cravings without going broke?
